J.D. Finley
Pastor
J.D Finley became the pastor here in January of 2025. He has served in vocational ministry for over 12 years, including roles as Student Ministry Intern, Associate Student Pastor, Student Pastor, and most recently as Discipleship Pastor at First Baptist Alma, Arkansas. J.D. holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership with a minor in History from the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith. His ministry has spanned youth, adult, and senior adult discipleship, as well as pastoral care and church communication.
He and his wife Mallorie, both Alma High School graduates, got married in 2016 and have two young sons, Barrett and Bodie. Though he went to school and graduated from Alma, J.D. has lived most of his life not 3 minutes from the church here in Cedarville. J.D and Mallorie both have deep roots in the River Valley and are thankful to serve in their home community. J.D. enjoys reading, doing anything outdoors, and watching football. His favorite conversations usually involve his family, theology, and politics.
